the movie , ' night at the museum ' i nv watch before .but i did try to experience what is in the movie by spending my night at our own national museum and the peranakan museum .
it was fun at national museum , and a little eerie at the other .
the newly touched up national museum building captures both the essence of what is futuristic and what is historic architecture design . they blend together perfectly .
no wait . i seemed to be more interested in the building design than all the historical artefacts . =.=" sorry to say , yes i am . after all , i'm always fascinated by all kinds of colonial buildings . they are rich in history and use lots of fine details and sculpture rather than relying on glasses , glasses and glasses like what modern building always does .
okay now for the artefacts . there are many galleries within the compound , each showing different themes . from food to fashion to photography to technology to blah bah blah . some of the artefacts even my house also got . doesn't that makes my house a tiny museum ? lols >.< !
it can take up to 1 whole day to slowly scrutinise everything actually but becos i dun like so many people vying with me to view something , we took just 2 hours . museums are supposed to be quiet and not noisy as in the case like yest . i would rather pay to enjoy myself rather than having free entry .
all these bottle and cup i also got . my bottles even had the original drinks intact ! lols .

projections of images onto the building surface . fantasitc . looks like the central fire station .at the peranakan museum , everything is much better . and eerie . peranakan's culture , lifestyle , people , customs , food , fashion , jewellery were all packed in the 3-storey former dao nan's school compound .
what's eerie was that they even set up mock altar and funeral for the dead ! ohh gosh . there's even mannequin wearing qing dynasty costume that looks like zombies ! somemore they are headless ! ! ! imagine the security guarding the place having to do patrolling within the museum sees them walking around at night . oo mi tuo fuo oo mi tuo fuo oo mi tuo fuo ... haha .
rounding up , the trip was an enjoyable one . too bad all sporeans are so cheapskate . free then all chiong to go . i will return to next time round so that i can truly appreciate everything . but as i say , it's next time . maybe next month , year , or even decade . heh heh heh ...
