=.= last week that was my shag level . and thur was the shaggest of the whole week . 5am wake up , 12am sleep =.=
we carried 30 boats and 55 motors that single day . i can really feel my arms growing muscular with every boat and motor being carried ...
nahzz we are not going for ops , they are for ndp08 .
sat was the first combined rehearsal i think . that was why we needed so many boats .
as i've said , anything to do with water , the army will need us . so that makes us very important ! hehe ...
it was my very first time participating in such important event . and i will say every new thing fascinates me just as much .
and for the first time , i've got the chance to zoom in waters around marina bay ... marina bay u know , not any lonkang or reservoir ! haha ...
from far , seeing our boat in formation is very _________ (fill in the blank) . most people will surely ask , " wah , why got so many army boats ? "
on the singapore flyer and along esplanade , i can also see many camera flashes directed at us . i wun mind if they want to take pictures of us . just wait for me to pose before u ka-chia >< ... haha .
from my view point in water , i can observe something that i couldn't see on land . it is the change of our cbd landscape . suddenly old memories were brought back ...
clifford pier was where i used to hang out during primary sch times . now , it was demolished .
last time there was no esplanade , no singapore flyer . now they popped up .
merlion was a distance away from where it used to be .
there isn't much construction cranes in the past . now they choked up the new financial district like a small dubai .
water was much greener due to algae in water , but they were now filthy yellow in colour .
ferries that used to docked near clifford pier were nowhere to be seen .
jus hoping that the construction for the new financial district and marina bay sands can be completed on time , on target ...
now fast forward to 2012 , our new city skyline ...
